At the first scene of the movie, I didn't got what they are trying to say. They repeating their lines until we got paranoid and annoyed. Haahahahahahaha. So that, I'm disappointed at the first scene.
There are situations in the play that prove that it is absurd like, They
just keep on telling stories that happened in their daily lives, rumors
or news, but it is very nonsense just for the sake to entertain each
other like people do in reality. They usually repeat their hyperbolized
words that makes the play entertaining and funny. If the play was
written in English, the audience will still pick up the humor because it
will make the audience bolt out of the blue and snoopy on what will
happened next. But if the play was wriiten in English, it is almost the
same like the Tagalog version, because the audience understand it
better and feel what the play is all about.
The 2 main characters. Mr and Mrs. Santos are the type of person who are
absentminded. They didn’t even know that they were both Mr. and Mrs.
Santos and they also didn’t know that they are married. they thought
that they were Mr. and Mrs. Reyes. Aside from that trait, they have this
kinds of sides. The other Mr. and Mrs. Santos are the one who are
naughty and furious, While the other side of them is they are kind and
caring, but absentminded on. and the other characters, Maria and Hepe
gives joy to every people especially Maria, because he shows how lively
and energetic the play could be.
To answer your question, Jerry, the play reserves the right and privilege to make the title as irrelevant to the contents as possible. It is, after all, an ABSURD play (which you wound find yourself explaining in one of the sections of your blog). Don't worry, I too find the play very confusing, pointless, and nonsensical. That in itself is what humored me and that is why think absurd plays are effective in relieving stress. They're like weed, they don't make sense, but they make you laugh and feel at ease. LMFAO.
